BIO

     Jonathan received his Doctor of Music degree from the Florida State University College of Music where he studied with Dr. John Drew. He earned his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Music Performance with an emphasis on the orchestral repertoire at Valdosta State University in Valdosta, GA. His teacher was Dr. Doug Farwell.

     Jonathan has performed with groups such as the Valdosta Symphony Orchestra, the Savannah Philharmonic, the Albany Symphony Orchestra, the Macon Symphony Orchestra, the Ocala Symphony Orchestra, and the Rome Festival Orchestra in Rome, Italy. He has also performed with jazz and commercial groups such as the Ed Barr Jazz Orchestra and has premiered at the North Sea Jazz Festival and the Montreaux Jazz Festival. Jonathan is also a founding member of the Valdosta State University Presidential Brass Quintet which has toured Georgia and Florida. Jonathan has performed as a cruise ship musician as a member of the Voyager of the Seas Orchestra.                Currently, Jonathan is the Adjunct Professor of Low Brass at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia. He also performs as the Bass Trombonist of the Sinfonia Gulf Coast in Destin, Florida and regularly appears with many orchestras in the region.
